THE LOVE GURU

This blog is dedicated to all those hopeless romantics out there who never stopped believing in love.

So how do you let go of someone who has done nothing wrong? Let’s face it, relationships sometimes tend to lose their spark. Things may not be as exciting as they first were or you don’t feel as impressed with your partner anymore. It’s human nature for life to move on and sometimes life’s obstacles get in the way of a normal relationship, whether it be a career change, ongoing arguments, boredom or another person. I’m going to tell you the secret to staying happy, even when things get rough between you and your loved one: do what makes you happy.

Now I’m not saying not to consider the other person but if you do what you please (as long as it fits your morals and values), you can’t go wrong. Many of you may think this is a selfish thing to do but it’s really not, I dare you to try it. This may really change your whole life around (even if you’re not in a relationship). If that other person doesn’t fit in your life after doing what you want to do and following your heart, it wasn’t meant to be - it’s as simple as that.

It can be hard letting go of someone even though you know it’s the right thing to do. If you never let go of the wrong one, how are you supposed to find the one? Even though you may not love your partner anymore, it’s obvious you may deeply care about them so you have to be completely honest to make sure they don’t end up getting hurt.

It’s perfectly normal to be upset after a break-up and many people believe that at the time it’s the end of the world. Honestly how many times has that happened after a break-up? But every time you bounce back slowly, you move on. You meet different people, experience new things, learn more about yourself and one of the many joys in life is you forget so that pain won’t be around for too long.
